| We just bought a house for a rental property and the fireplace is all blackened on the inside. How do we clean that out of there and/or is there a paint that we could use to cover it up?
Thanks so much.

| I assume you are talking about the firebox. If that is dirty, then probably you need to hire a chimney sweep to clean out the chimney as well. If you ae new to this property, therefore do not know the condition of the fireplace and chimney, you should probably refrain from using the fireplace until you have had it professionally cleaned and inspected. |
