DIY Fireplace

We are remodelling our own home. We have a gas fireplace but we are moving it about 5 feet to the right. I think we can build this ourselves without any big problem. Someone out there has to have done this before. We know all about the exhaust, draft, et all. Just wanted some feedback from experience.
