Hot wall

Hi ,
I've posted this here before but will try again with updates. We installed a Lopi Declaration into a heatilator type fireplace back a few years ago. The heatilator was installed into a regular brick chimney with two other flues, one for the furnace, and one not used but available for use later for a possible wood stove on lower level.
When the installer of the stove did his thing, he said all of our flues had collapsed. We had installed a new furnace with a direct vent outside in the meantime, so this did' nt bother us too much. Now, we find the wall gets quite hot when
N we use the stove, and when we don't use it, the wall and floor in front of the stove is freezing. We now wish we could take everything out and build a new fireplace. How much will such a job cost ?
Help please,
Salbwil
