I bought a used quadra fire..it ran great for a month. Had it looked at from a hvac tech..he said it was the auger motor..ok replaced that. Now, my son bypassed everything including the vacuum switch then it worked. ok, replaced that. It is an 2003. Vacuum switch alot smaller than the original. Ok, now..the vacuum switch didn't fit where the old one came out of. Hold it up,stove doesn't work, hold it down..it worked. Pipes are all sealed...doubled check that. Now my house filled up with smoke and I don't what to do now. The stove fills up with smoke and has black ash all over my door and inside the stove. Should I keep lighting it and burn on or should I call it quits? It has been on and off for weeks trying to figure out what's wrong.
