| Hi. My husband And I going to install a free standing wood burning stove. I know there is a LOT involved, purchasing the stove, the heat shield, the chimney, the floor, and I may have left something out. Has anyone RECENTLY installed a free standing stove? Can anyone possibly give me a round-a-bout figure for installation? I live in Northern NJ, and am trying to locate someone reputable to do the installation, maybe someone knows of someone reputable in my area. I'd appreciate any feedback! Thanks, Skye_bleu |

| You will find a world of information about wood stoves, chimneys, hearths, and any other related issues at www.hearth.com. It's impossible to give even a general dollar estimate. You can pay anywhere from several hundred dollars for a stove to 4000+ dollars. Local and state fire codes will have a lot to do with hearths, chimney, heat shields. |
