| Builder installed my gas fireplace w/blower that vents to the outside. There is not a raised hearth under it but it is mounted a few inches (6 or so) off the floor. It is framed by way of the mantel, etc.
I noticed that the floor and where there are vents/louvers under the fireplace has alot of cold area coming in. Is this normal? Is it because it vents to the outside? |
