RE: investment books

I have Investing for Dummies. It has a 30 page chapter on Mutual Funds.

That chapter is one in 130 pages of "Stocks, Bonds, and Wall Street.

I consider it a good 'starter book'.

"The Intelligent Investor" (I think is the title - but the authour for sure is Benjamin Graham). An oldie - but goodie.

Buy a share or two of Berkshire Hathaway B (at something over $3,000. per) and read the no-nonsense annual report written by Warren Buffet that comes with ownership. They'll send you one if you ask - but there may be a fee.

www.motleyfool.com (I think - but Google can show you).

For Canadians, "Balancing Act" by Joanne Thomas Yaccato. Also, "Financial Freedom Without Sacrifice" by Talbot Stevens (a resident of the nearby city).

Good wishes for learning how money works - if you don't boss your money ... it'll boss you.
