I'm just wondering, with all the news about identity theft, has anyone checked their children's credit reports? You know, the free credit check sponsored by the govt? I'm planning to do this, esp. since my 8 and 10 year old boys are getting invitations for credit cards from United Airlines and American, since they have frequent flier account. Don't these people check the age before they send out Visa applications?

I think that would be a very good question to ask the credit card companies. I'd be very curious about how they answered. Sue

I read about a guy who took out a credit card for his dog, because a solicitation came in the mail for it. Then they grumble when someone turns out to be a bad credit risk. jeez.
