| Two Medicare Part D health plan reps have told me that Medicare sets the drug tiers, yet our (three) drugs are in different tiers in each plan. For instance, my Advair is Tier 2 in one plan and Tier 3 in another.
As if making comparisons wasn't already complicated enough! |

| The drug companies make deals with the insurance companies, that's how Medicare Part D works and why each company is different. It's not set my "Medicare" at all. You can thank "free enterprise" and no regulation, IMHO. If you plan on changing your Part D carrier, you'd do best by consulting a HICAP office for a review. |
