I am trying to create a budget for our new kitchen remodel. So far I have
cabinets
countertop
sink
disposal
faucet

fridge
range
dw
micro
hood

backsplash
lighting
new windows

flooring
walls
paint
furniture - barstools

permits
electrician
plumber
GC - outside wall repair, demo, cab install
architect

Anything I am missing?? Does anyone have a spreadsheet they'd be willing to share?

If you haven't checked the Kitchen forum already you may want to ask this question over there as well.

Does your cabinet line item include the cabinet hardware? I don't happen to have any window coverings in my kitchen but you may have someone in your household who wants that kind of thing.

Off the top of my head...
Cabinet hardware/window hardware/door hardware
Switchplates
Wood for floor/baseboard molding and/or crown molding
any computer/cable tv install needed?
heating vent covers
any new heating/air conditioning work/ducts needed?
demo - who is paying for dumpsters?
any new insulation needed?
who is installing the backsplash and flooring?

We planned pretty thoroughly in our remodel and were also advised to have a 10-20% reserve for overruns. Of course I said "no way" - won't be needed. However, we ran into some structural engineer questions, floor leveling needs, additional ceiling support needs. We used the reserve.
