| Recently I pulled my credit report and I noticed an account which I know is not mine. I contacted the creditor and I had no success in trying to solve it with them. So I contacted the credit reporting agencies and disputed it with them to only get the same response. It is almost $3000.00 the account is closed and in collection but I didn't even know it existed. So does anyone have any suggestions? |

| I think you did what you were suppose to, by disbuting the listing. I believe the company has to supply you with the information, when it was opened, etc. You might try sending a letter, certified with return receipt for a response. Also there is information on the credit bureau web sites on how to disbute the information. Good luck. |
