| Hi Everyone! I've lurked here for a long time and I just wanted to pop in to say "Thank" you to all for such great advice. Thanks to the info here, I'm finally "getting it" and our finanical house is being whipped into shape!

| You may be older than dirt, but never too old to learn! Me too! You guys inspired me to have DH run Turbotax with an IRA deposit for me and it did help. We put everything we could ($3000) in my IRA the week before we sent the tax money in. It is small, but it is something! In our household, DH is employed and has a good pension and lots of money in IRAs. I have just a bit, since I am a contractor and only started working 13 years ago. It is nice to have some retirement savings in my name. |
