| My wife, an RN, needs to take a couple of college courses so that she can refinance her student loan. Is it possible to take these courses if you only have dial up internet connection? |

Yes probably, but you probably need that information from the actual institution. Also, many classes these days are hybrids, which have both class and webtime...
On my campus, there are also high speed computers available to anyone in the library. |
