| Hello. I purchased a new dryer and front loading washer in 2007. Both have energy star ratings. I was wondering if there was a deduction that I could take? I saw online that you can get a deduction for installing energy efficient doors and some other things, but does anyone know about appliances?
Thanks,

| Tax credits were available for insulation, replacement windows, water heaters, and certain high efficiency heating and cooling equipment. See chart. The maximum amount of homeowner credit for all improvements combined is $500 during the two year period of the tax credit. The above is taken from the link below. Sue |

| Hi. We also installed an energy effecient w/d set & a new furnace in 2007. We only got credit for the furnace, the w/d didn't count. ~McHudd |
