Tax software questions

Posted by Dedtired (My Page) on

I have been using TaxAct for the past two years, but I never hear of anyone else who uses this program. It seems okay -- the IRS didn't complain and now I have the advantage of having my previous year's numbers automatically popped into this year's form.

However, I am thinking of switching to TurboTax because so many people seem to like it. What's the difference between the program I download from their site and the one that I buy in a box at the store?? Anything?

RE: Tax software questions

Well, it's much past April 15 and no answer, so maybe it's time for this one to scroll off ...

I have no experience w/TaxAct, but H&R Block's TaxCut is the same whether you buy a CD or download it.
