I just recently purchased a home with lots of backyard space Simply put, I want to start my own vegetable garden business from my backyard, but I am a novice i would seriously hold off on trying to start a business out of gardening right now. continue your current job and aquire the skilles you currently lack over a couple years before you attempt to live off what you can grow. plus, it takes a couple months before you can sell ANYTHING, and those are also the months when you have the biggest expenditures for equipment and supplies, so with a new house i would try to get all that out of the way and get htings settled before i quit my day job. it is something about getting a lot of land makes us all see this. when we bought our house i swore i was going to grow a huge garden and sell veggies for extra money. that was almost 4 years ago and i have yet to sell anything. i usually keep most of what i grow and give the rest away as i don't have enough extra to make it worth selling!

Personally I'd say use the (or an) accountant for one more year because you've bought and sold houses. Tax software is great (I've used it for years), but accountants are paid to find deductions that the software programs may well not be able to flush out. Luckily my tax situation is very simple, so I don't need to worry about that. In the next couple of years, though, I'm going to start exercising stock options at my company. Then things are going to get complex.

I will keep an eye on her site to see if she's speaking anywhere around me. dlm, good question with a long answer but will try to be brief. Lots of difficulty with friendship until he was in HS. He was in special ed schools until HS, then went to a regular HS but very small and welcoming to kids with "learning differences." Anyway, he found some good friends there and has held onto a couple of them. Then when he went to college briefly, he made a couple of friends who he is still friends with. In the last two years he has really managed to find a few good friends who are quirky but functioning (I mean, none of them are teachers or lawyers, but they are working musicians or artists or bartenders....). Mostly guys but he does have a couple of girls who are friends. He has had a couple of girlfriends and the last one was a disaster of epic proportions but I won't say more about that here. Most of the friends he's made over the past 2-3 years have been a few years older than him. All have their own apts. so he mainly goes to their places and we don't really see them, so it's hard to describe the dynamics of these relationships. When we do meet his friends, they always seem quirky but very nice. I think the linked article explains NLD/NVLD pretty well. DS doesn't have every feature, but definitely has most, including physical awkwardness (never played sports, trips up or down stairs, etc), OCD tendencies, dominates conversations, lousy hygiene, etc. Some of the features he had when he was younger but not as much now, possibly because he has been in therapy since he was 6 years old!? Deadline for our first book is today. I am just waiting for the artist to send me the final PDFs and then I send them to print. It is exciting. But, don't be too impressed with my energy. I think as soon as this is done today I am going to majorly crash for about 12 hours! LOL! Talley Sue, I guess I will accept being a type A -, though I never am happy unless everything I do is A+! LOL! But seriously, finding my limits and farming out the rest is by far what works the best. As much as I like ebay, I think it is going to be gone for quite a while. It is just too much. Unfortunately my MIL hasn't been able to start cleaning for us, because of a sick relative that is consuming all her attention right now. They are in ICU, and so she is there all the time. I certainly understand, but my messy house doesn't! Between e-mails and phone calls today I have been playing "24 pick up", doing laundry and cleaning the kitchen. It is amazing the difference just a few minutes here and there makes. It's still messy, but it doesn't look like the after-math of a terrorist attack either, so I can live with it!
