| Has anyone used this? Supposedly it is free, but it sounds too good to be true. I really want to get my taxes done this weekend! |

| i was going to use it this weekend myself, but since i had already spent 3 hours plugging everything into turbotax i decided against it. i have talked to several people who do use it, and all say it truly is free and easy to use. go for it! |

| i used taxact both this year and last year. it is free, just like they say. at least for your federal return. to file a state return it is an additional $12.95 (i am pretty sure that is how much i paid). i was very pleased with taxact and plan to use it again next year. i only wish i could use taxact to do my local taxes also! jiggreen |

| I have used tax act the past couple of years. Like it fine, though I think I have paid to have the info from last year imported. And must pay for the state return for sure. |
