HAVE: workbasket magazines

I have about 20 workbaskets from the 40's an 50's unfortunatily the work basket i need has a pattern of a crochet butterfly Iv made it once before the pattern # is 776 but I cant find the book If anyone has this book Id be willing to trade or at least let me Know the month and yr of the one with the butteryflt doily

I don't think the pattern number is going to make for an easy search. Approximate date (even just the year) of the Workbasket you found it in would be most helpful. And could you tell us what application the butterfly is to be used for? Was it an insertion? I seem to remember a thread butterfly that was used as a corner on a towel. Or was it for something else?

I have more than a hundred Workbaskets, and I'll be happy to look, but I'll need at least the application, I think.
