Uttwiler Spaetlauber Anti Aging Apple...
Comments (6)This apple is not on my priority list but it is certainly a remarkable apple. When apple get's punctured, it can grow/heal over, apple in storage doesn't wrinkle. Hey...we could all use some rejuvenating agent in a natural form...couldn't we? LOL.. I might get some scion...just to see if I can grow it here, probably not, this is a long season apple, similar to Granny Smith, but since it's a very old cutlivar from around 1750, it could be a hardy apple and I can extract the agent from the leaves,..well, maybe not but I was reading that it was done. Here is a link that might be useful: Could the extract from a rare Swiss apple REALLY get rid of your wrinkles? Comments (25)FYI, Oxygen is damaging to skin and other cells of the body. The fact that your body can use it to convert into energy is because oxygen gas (in the air) forms high energy chemical bonds, which your metabolism breaks and then traps the energy. Oxygen damages DNA, fatty acids (ie skin membranes) and other cells in your body. That's why ANTI-oxidants are good for you - Vitamin C, E etc neutralize oxidants when applied externally or taken internally. I find it really hilarious that people think increasing oxygen will make you look younger. No, it won't. A vigorous, stimulating bath might hydrate your skin, making it temporarily look better - but nothing to do with the oxygen content....See MoreDo you use anti-aging skin products?
Comments (13)I hardly wear makeup anymore. Recently thought I have noticed wrinkles when I have makeup around my eyes - they seem to be more noticeable with makeup on. I'm not a religious cream user although I have tried many products I tend to wind up using my hand cream. In the winter it's Vaseline Intensive Care Water Resistent formula. I figure every wrinkle is earned - a story behind each and every crease. I'd love to buy nice creams but I never stick to any regime. My favourite is Clinique daily moisturizer - I just don't have the stomach to spend the money on it these days....See MoreNo 7 anti aging serum Anyone use it ?
Comments (13)I saw the report on TV that's transcribed in Sushipup's link. It says the same thing I've always heard from the pros. The active ingredients in the cheap stuff are the same as in the expensive stuff, and the biggest differences are in packaging, perfume, fillers, stabilizers and preservatives, waxes and "sealers", etc. None of them will prevent aging, and they don't claim that they do. They lessen the appearance of aging with moisturizing, fillers (which wash off), exfoliating acids (you could use a washcloth for that part), etc. What prevents premature skin aging (aging itself is genetic and some people look older at a younger age and nothing will stop that), is reducing sun exposure, and keeping a healthy body (no smoking, little drinking/drugging, good diet (including sufficient fats), general fitness, and lots of water). Re before and after pictures, make your own. Make them for a friend. There are good reasons why older actors look so youthful on screen, and like hags in the vegetable aisle. I'm not saying you won't see a difference. Just that there's a lot of difference in lighting and focus when you're trying to make the before picture look as bad as possible and the after picture look as good as possible....See Morekimba00
