Dry vs. wet sauna

I have only had steam saunas in the past and always liked the fact that they made me sweat and cleaned out my pores. I went with a friend to her club and they had a dry sauna. What's the point? How is it good for you? Thanks.

RE: Dry vs. wet sauna

I prefer the dry sauna as I find it hard-to-breathe in the steam room......and sometimes they put a fragrance in the steam that is not pleasant, like wintergreen! Suppose it is a matter of preference.
