Comments (55)Those peas in pots are doing so well that I planted two more pots. Used up the leftover Sugar Lace II seeds that I had. So I had four pots of Sugar Lace II and four pots of Snow peas. Now I will have six pots of Sugar Lace II. I always have good luck planting peas in pots, I planted them in pots last spring. None in ground. Then last fall I planted them in pots again but did put some in ground. This fall I will be planing peas in pots also. I watered all my peas including the inground ones. Those early inground ones (Super Sugar Snap) I planted March 21 and I don't see anything sprouting yet. But the pots I planted March 29 and March 30. So they sprouted quickly. Hurray for spring peas. The peas are the first veggie of the year for me and part of my veggie crazies that I had real bad last year. Going to be lots of veggie crazies for me this year again as late last summer I expanded one of my tomatoe beds and then moved all the TB iris in Tower Sqare so that Tower Square could be a veggie bed this year. Going to have tomatoes, yard long beans and some greens growing there. Going to put cucumbers upstaires again in the main path thru the mid backyard daylily bed....See Morei want to buy a glider from qvc.com but....im not in us!!!!!
Comments (2)Ok thanx Heather. I did just that and i found out that it will cost me $202.60 canadian. I called them up, but unfortunatly they said that they cannot ship to my location becuase the item was oversised (becuase i live in canada and they have restrictions). I saw the orbitreck elliptical glider on sale for $239.99 in the canadian tire flyer, so i am looking around reading threads to see if it is worth my cash. :)...See MoreTony Little Gazelle
Comments (7)Hello Felan, I am sorry I don't have any advise pertaining to the product you are inquiring about. However, maybe I can be of help reguarding your lack of a credit card, or at least give you some advice on aquiring some of the conveniences that a credit card affords you. Are you aware that a debit card, or ATM (automated teller machine) card, basically works just like a credit card? Because of my lack of credit, I have not been able to get a credit card (or at least one with a less then ridiculous interest rate). But to my suprise I have found that when ordering items that I have seen on TV, I still have the freedom to choose the payment plan option. In some cases, I am not even sure if they can tell a credit card from a debit card. When, they ask what type of card I have, I simply reply, Visa and go on to give the required information. The payments are deducted directly from my checking account. However, I believe you can also have debit cards linked to other types of accounts, such as savings. Check it out! Once you get one, you'll wonder how you ever got along with out it. Just make sure your bank deals with one of the major companies, (for example mine is uses Visa) and make sure you don't get an account with allot of, or high service charges. Most banks offer economy checking accounts, or free savings accounts. For example, my checking account doesn't earn interest but there are no charges for card use, and no limit on check use as long as I keep at least $100 in the account. Try it you'll love having one!...See MoreMaking the most of cabinet space
Comments (17)Marti, up north my DH put rollout wire trays in his lower cabs. They were much lighter weight than the Rev-A-Shelf trays. So I have to be careful when I load them down with the canned goods. And they do not hold as much cookware in the rollouts adjacent to the stove. I'm not where I can take a photo of them now, but will be up that way by the end of May. I'll upload a shot of those roll outs. After he installed the first RevAShelf for me, which attaches to the cab door and the whole thing pulls out, he was the one who insisted on doing the other two. Those top/bottom shelves in a base cab roll out individually, and are absolutely great. He did not complain about installing them. Now I can access all sorts of things. If you have a base cab without a drawer, the top rollout of the RevAShelf can hold really tall objects. You could put your blender or mixer on those. Heck, they do make the roll outs with wood instead of wire, but all are good quality. I wanted a roll out pantry from them, but just the insert/metal part, not the cabinet which we'd have to provide, was up close to $1500, and I had sticker shock. I did let my DH know I was not planning to install that, so he would feel consoled by my frugal nature (hehehehe). Now it does not seem so bad to him that I want all the shelves in that pantry to have metal tracks to make them ADJUSTABLE. And he likes that too. When I lived AND worked on boats, I discovered all sorts of ways to use "lost" space. Then when I moved into MoccasinLanding, the house felt totally empty and had so much wasted space!! But over the 17 years I lived there, I gradually expanded (like a gas vapor) to fill the available space. If you have it, you will fill it. Sometimes it is easier to just hang on to something, if there is a place to put it, instead of tossing it. I try to avoid doing that. But I am a real nut about nice pots and pans, which makes me enjoy using the kitchen. When my son was little, he told me, "Mama, you are a good cook for somebody who does not use the stove." It is still true....we don't presently HAVE a stove...just a 2burner hot plate. :) But when I save up, the 24" Berta Italian stove is my dream range for a small kitchen....See Moretiredmom
