2 Questions about foods

1)I heared numerous times that fish such as albacore, mackrel, swordfish, and shark should not be consumed due to high levels of mercury.

I'm pretty sure tuna belongs to the same group as albacore, mackrel, etc. If that's the case, how come is it concidered "healthy" to eat tuna salads made from canned tuna??

Dont I get poisoned by mercury from eating that as well?

2)I am trying to work out lately. I'm not aiming to look like a bodybuilder, and I dont use weights. I just use my bodyweight. - pushups, pullups, situps, etc.

Because of this, I got interested in consuming protein rich foods.

I'm strongly opposed to protein shakes, bars, supplements, etc.

I cant stand chicken, pork, and most beef(with the exception of kebab, steak, hamburgers, and hotdogs.

I'm totally ok with fish, such as halibut, cod, striped bass, tuna, salmon, and sardines. Dairy is fine by me too - eggs, milk, buttermilk, etc.

At this point, it seems like I'm quite limited in my choice of protein rich foods, since fresh fish is expencive, eggs can not be consumed every day, and most meats are not to my liking. Do I have any alternatives that I do not know of?

---Thanx in advance for your help.
