I want to know if 60 minutes of exercise is EQUAL to 2-30 minute sessions. Every time I search on google for this question, the answer is almost always, "well its better than nothing".

Well, yeah I know its better than nothing. But I want to know how much of a difference is it? Is it big?

RE: Length of exercise sessions

I believe it takes the average person who is exercising in their aerobic zone about 20 minutes to burn off the sugar in their system and start burning fat, so in a 60 minute work-out, you have 40 minutes of burning fat and in 2 thirty minute workouts you would have only 20 minutes of fat burning - a considerable difference.
