Hi Everyone, I have been trying these for months and months but it doesn’t help me anymore. I am talking about six pack abs that I am trying to get. I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted). So, now can anyone suggest me any ways or ideas to get them

Plz give your valuable suggestions!!!

Search "Abs of Steel".

High Protein and Low Carb Diet. One hour workout 4 x's a week plus walking or jogging.

First of all, I would like to tell you that each and everyone has their own way to get them but not all are success. You will be given a hundred solutions if you go on asking different people, like the gym you joined or the tricks that you had been told. So, it’s better for you follow a certain routine for this. My cousin was also in a similar dilemma and later he found a course that helped him and moreover that was not time consuming and has fast results too…so he was not abandoned by patience. I believe that this course can help you also to get the abs you desire.

actually, one of the hardest part of our body to develop when we will strengthen it are the 5th and the 6th abs.. it takes 6 months plus to develop.. ;) based on stat.. just be patient.. ;)

In a sense, we all have six pack abs.... and we are all "ripped" for that matter.

The layer of fat just above our muscles gets in the way of viewing them.

Therefore, you are asking the same question as someone who is asking, "how do I lose fat?".

I suspect that some bodies' are more tenacious about clinging to that last little layer of fat that makes most of us look so unripped.

Situps of any sort are not your answer. If your abs are really weak and particularly small because of being sedentary, then perhaps situp types of exercises could help, but the real problem is fat.

Determine your minimum caloric intake and try to stay close to it, and exercise aerobically for as long as you can safely do it on an almost daily basis if not every day.

No human body can make fat very well when those calories are needed for being alive. Problem is, your body will create an incredible appetite once you drop into the lower caloric numbers.

You and your doctor are responsible for your decisions by the way.

Also, you have to decide if you want to donate so much of your attention and energy to the ripped look. As soon as you take some time off from your regime, that smooth look will return! Once you get the six pack... it's not like a permanent feature.

Go on a reduced calorie diet, start running and do weight training. Within a short time, your six-pack abs will emerge, making you the envy of all the males.

It's a combination of diet and exercise. I found this article very helpful.

It'd help if you gave me an overview of your body, but if you have a good trainer, odds are the problem is not in your workout itself, so you should be taking a look at other factors. For nutrition, no matter what your goal, you want to aim to have a relatively small meal every 2.5-3 hours. This keeps your metabolism reved and your body in an anabolic state (assuming you're taking in plenty of protein, which you should).
-If you're looking to lose weight, note that not all calories are used the exact same way by all body types. Insulin sensitivity varies quite a bit from person to person. If you're on a high-carb diet, I'd start cycling my carbs and/or focusing them around workout times.
-If looking to gain muscle, make sure you're getting enough rest between workouts. The rectus abdominis is the muscle that makes up the six pack, so pick a few exercises that work it with high-resistance low-rep if you haven't tried that yet. Get your complex carbs about an hour before your workout for energy and simple carbs immediately after to refill your glycogen stores and get you back in an anabolic state. As always, get a solid protein source every time you eat.
Regardless, never doubt yourself. All battles are won or lost before they are even fought. If you aren't seeing results, clear your head and take an UNBIASED look at what you're doing. When you're just frustrated that you aren't seeing results, you generally aren't thinking of the why as clearly.
If you're still working on it, I wish you the best of luck.

Hi ambrose78, I know how it feels to have a flabby stomach when every day you see people with great toned abs they're everywhere, right. On every corner seems to me there is a billboard or a magazine with a guy with his shirt off. That's what made me do something about it, but to be honest as some have already said, different things work for different people. I tried several programs myself before I started to see results. Thing is, what worked for me could work for you - but maybe it won't, because we're all different.

One thing is for sure though - it's no easy ride to get a six pack, I wish it was - I had to work hard and mine took about nine months, same as a pregnancy and almost as much work, seemed to me!

It was hard work, but boy was it worth it because I actually have a fully visible six pack now, and it makes me feel great - confident in how I look.

So, please don't give up, you can do it.

behaviorkelton nailed it! He is absolutely right. As a trainer I try to teach this to my clients all the time.
I wrote an article on my blog that discusses the truth about ab exercises for a flat stomach. It's worth a read.
