Whole Grain Polenta?

I'm trying to find a source for polenta ground from the whole corn kernel. Some brands are from degermed corn. Can I just use stone ground cornmeal? TIA

RE: Whole Grain Polenta?

Polenta is just a cooked grain, lots of different grains...and even in Italy, it is made from different grains/flours, even chestnut flour...so if stone ground meal is what you can get...try it...I am betting it would be delish...I have eaten cornmeal mush many times and it is great...
