Cold hands during exercise

Hi All,

I just recently started an exercise and weight loss program. I have a couple of questions maybe someone can shed some light on:

I am now walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes a day, in the morning. While I am on the treadmill my hands get like ice cubes. Is this normal? I normally have very warm hands. Just want to be sure it isnt a circulation problem.

Secondly, although I have been sticking to the diet portion of my plan, I gained 2 lbs the first week on it. Can I be retaining water because my body isnt used to exercising or something? Any ideas?

Thanks very much for your help!

Best regards,

Margaret
