Does anyone use Dave Monroe's worm bed and methods
Comments (13)susieeg54 back in 2005, I established and ran a website (scamdetectors.com, no longer functional) for the sole purpose of warning the public regarding fraudulent and misleading business opportunities and other scams. At that time, people weren't aware of how to put those running such endeavors out of business, but thanks to getting them organized and learning where and how to file complaints, various states' attorney generals, the FTC and DOJ have aggressively moved in recent years to protect the public and have put these people out of business and into prison. And based solely on sbryce's initial reply, it sounds like that's what you're most likely involved with. So do some research on "Operation Bottom Dollar" and Operation Lost Opportunity" to see what people recently charged and convicted in those cases did. And if any of that applies in your situation, I'd bring that to Mr. Monroe's attention and request a full refund. And if he doesn't do that, you can file a mail fraud complaint, which will be investigated and then referred to the FTC, who will then refer the case to the DOJ for criminal prosecution if he has violated the law (which he did if he didn't provide you with the required documentation regarding actual "realized" (and not just "potential") profits as referred to in the 11/15/12 news release regarding the most recent actions taken in Operation Lost Opportunity). Thanks to the way websites are archived, you can also learn a lot about fraudulent business opportunities at this link to my former website. Fortunately, most of the individuals involved in those fraudulent business opportunities have entered into plea agreements or have been convicted, and are now paying restitution, in prison or awaiting trial and/or sentencing. So I was truly surprised to see that anyone, especially after previously being shut down, is still offering anything less than a legitimate business opportunities since it will most likely eventually put them in prison. Please let me know if you need additional information or help and I'll be glad to do what I can in that regard; even though I no longer maintain the contact I used to with state and federal law enforcement agencies and there's now a lot of information available on the FTC website about filing fraudulent business opportunity complaints. And I wish you well in your vermicomposting endeavors--it's lots of fun, and with time and patience, probably has the potential to supplement your income a bit; though it sounds like your initial investment was a lot more than necesary. Comments (3)Facial exercise is very effective for the eyes. Take a look at flexeffect.com. I started doing their exercises several years ago and I can tell a real difference if I stop doing it for a few months. It helps tighten up the undereye area and makes your lids thicker and not crepey. I bought just her $15 first video and that's all....See MoreDoes anyone take "Miracle" Supplemental products?
Comments (18)If you do a check of webMD it says that Moringa Zija is a plant from India, Pakistan etc. This is what it said "Moringa is POSSIBLY SAFE when taken by mouth and used appropriately. The leaves, fruit, and seeds might be safe when eaten as food. However, itâÂÂs important to avoid eating the root and its extracts. These parts of the plant may contain a toxic substance that can cause paralysis and death. Moringa has been used safely in doses up to 6 grams daily for up to 3 weeks." I don't think I'd try this unless I was desperate. It sounds like it could be bad. Thiis does sound like MLM. On another note, I have a couple of co-workers that swear by Isogenix which is another MLM. I generally keep an open mind because I know that there's a lot we just don't know. But when I asked one of them how much it cost, she told me $900 per month. It's basically a meal replacement plan with lots of vitamins and such. They seem to do a cleanse for 3 days out of 7. They eat their smoothies every day at lunch. They said they feel great and they plan to never quit this program. I can't imagine paying $900 per month for the rest of their lives. Seems crazy to me....See Morenew Kohler shower pan stained; Miracle Method cleaning? x-post
Comments (16)I can vouch for the ROG cleaner. I just received it a week ago and used it on my Kohler cast iron tub's non-slip surface which, BTW, never looked new even when the tub was first installed. The tub was delivered to my house in a crate and the bottom was not protected so the non-slip surface was already dirty looking before the tub was installed. My tub has been in place for 13 years and has been used daily. The cleaner was expensive, but totally worth it. None of the other recommended cleaners from Kohler's "accepted" list worked AT ALL. The ROG has two steps. First was the blue cleaner (ROG 3) which is really more of an all-around cleaner. It's a good cleanser with a nice, fresh scent, but it did nothing to rectify the dirty look of the non-slip surface. Second step was the white cleanser (ROG 1) which made the bottom of my tub look brand spanking new! I can see the bottle lasting a long, long time. I do like the blue cleanser a lot, much better than the Dow I was using, and I will purchase more of it. I don't mind spending money on products that work, as that is preferable to wasting money on products that don't. Another plus with the blue cleaner is that it foams nicely and you don't have to use much of it. BTW, I believe magic erasers can permanently damage the non-slip surface. As the writer of the blog linked to above mentioned, the ROG3 is the cleanser recommended on Kohler's website, but it didn't really do anything to improve the look of my non-slip surface. I think it will probably work well to maintain the clean look now that the ROG1 has been used to restore it to new looking....See Moreramrice
