Help, tired and we are having people over

We are having people over New Year's Eve. We are having a very casual dinner with desserts and appetizers. I had trouble falling asleep last night and then I woke up around 4:30 this morning. I got back to sleep around 6 only to wake up around 8. I did not get as much accomplished today as I would have liked. I have been dragging because I am so tired. I have several loads of laundry to put away and two desserts to make along with two entrees. The house is far from perfect though I dusted, vacuumed, took care of the garbage, straightened etc. Should I just rest and get to bed early tonight and hope I can get it all done tomorrow? DH is busy in the morning but will be able to help in the afternoon. I don't want to get sick from being tired and stressed. Also I want to enjoy my guests like I usually do. People are not arriving until 6:30.

What advice can you offer?
