| I am planning to do an open house for my parents. I was thinking about offering a couple of kinds of soup, veggies, fruit, cheeseballs & desserts. Does this sound OK? or should I add some other things? |

| Sounds great to me! But then, I love soup. I would add bread to the menu. Make sure you have a way to keep the soups good and hot. I would serve them in mugs; it's kind of hard to carry a bowl around at an open house. Once I was at a fancy party where one of the hors d'ouevre was a miniature version of the family's favorite lunch: small glass mugs of tomato soup garnished with a rectangular slice of grilled cheese sandwich! It was terrific and made a big hit. |
