My Sunday school class is having a hillbilly hoe-down party this coming Saturday. I need some suggestions for games. I have searched and searched and haven't come up with much at all. Thanks for any ideas you might have.
Hi. Thanks for your ideas. I'm sorry, it is an adult party. What is a husband calling contest? Frying pan toss? Those sound interesting, but I'm not sure what they are. The party is this coming Saturday night. All I've found so far is a big feet contest, and a Mountain Dew drinking contest. As you can see, I need help! I appreciate any ideas you can come up with. A frying pan toss is a contest to see who (usually women) can throw a cast iron frying pan the farthest. For a husband calling contest, women hollar out for their husbands as if they were "way out back." This is a subjective contest, where judges determine who is best.
Oh, I love these ideas. You guys are great. Looks like the weather may not cooperate. We had planned to have it outside and had a chiminea to build a fire in, but not sure how that's going to work out now. We'll have fun anyway. Thanks again. Debbie
My friend that was going to coordinate my daugthers party is unable to do so. I only have a month to plan it and I am on a fixed income. I need no/ low cost decorating and game ideas. Can anyone help out with some suggestions?
