Need help with Birthday decoration in a restaurant!!!

| We are celebrating our mother's 60th birthday in a Chinese restaurant (in a private room).
I REALLY REALLY REALLY need 'room' decoration ideas.... (since it's a Chinese restaurant, there's no need for table decoration)
Can someone share your creative ideas with me! (The dinner will held on next Sunday evening!)

You could tie or tape helium balloons to the backs of the chairs; maybe borrow an artist's easel & put photos of mom from babyhood thru recent times. Place some floor plants or silk trees around the room..add white lights & double stick bright colored foil '60's
on several of the leaves. |
