How many tea sandwiches to make for a shower

Posted by andreaintx (My Page) on

Hi I'm hosting a baby shower on Sunday and I'm trying to figure out how many tea sandwiches I should make. The shower is from 2-4 and we are having 30 people. I'm doing a crudite and fruit as well. Here are the sandwiches:
Pineapple and Cream Cheese on Wheat - makes 40 quarters
Cucumber Mint on White - makes 32
Smoked Salmon on Toast Points - makes 30

I read that you should make 3 quarter sandwiches per person but I don't know that everyone is going to take one of each. What if someone takes more of one sandwich?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Don't know if you checked yet. I responded to this question at the Cooking forum. NancyLouise
