anything new in cost/availability of solar?

I wouls so like to go solar- but with the high cost I will be long gone unless somebody comes up with something more economical.
I am especially interested in roof panels that blend in better.
What is new/more appropriate cost? TY!

Same Sun. Slightly improved panels.

The startup cost are still significant. The technology works and the money works in the long run, but most people don't live in one place long enough to make back the initial costs. That probably isn't going to change in the near future.
