| We're looking at Geothermal for new construction in WV- received a quote of $24K for a 4 ton system for a 2280 sq. ft. log home which includes the complete system, wells, and ducts. This is about $8500 higher than a conventional heat pump after the tax credit and payback estimate is about 5-6 years.
Vendor has been using Hydroheat/Mega Tek equipment for a number of years and feels it is good value, reliable, and when there have been issues, the company was reasonable to work with.
Only found one post mentioning this company about an install from 5 years ago, any current feedback on this company? Thanks in advance. |
