This stinks!

Well, I was thinking of installing a small wood stove, but it seems that in a wood frame house here in Florida, the increase in insurance premiums would overrun any savings in heating costs.

That just stinks!

RE: This stinks!

being as it is FL, a heat pump would give you the best performance. either a regular high effieciency or a geo unit. which one you choose would depend on your budget. a geo is high dollar, unless you plan on being there for a long time you will never recover the install cost IN MOST SITUATIONS.

BTW, my HOI is no different with or with our wood burning heat and i have a wood frame home. maybe you should check with another carrier.
