question on placing pellet stove in 2 story house

I want to put my pellet stove in the first floor do you think the heat will reach my secound floor back bedroom without blasting the heat on max. I am planning to put the pellet stove on the first floor across from my stairs leading to the secound floor. Just worried that my newborn baby will not have enough heat since his or her bedroom is the farthest away, although his or her room is connected to the main upstairs hallway.

RE: question on placing pellet stove in 2 story house

Just stumbled onto your question here... I live in a split level and our pellet stove would NOT heat it well enough. Though, I'm not sure how cold it is in your area since we live in Alaska- that does make a difference :) We have a pellet stove on both levels (one needs work before we can use it again thou :)
