Is there such a thing as burying pipe in the ground and simply blowing the cool air into your house without a heat exchanger??

The term earthtube is some thing I came across recently. Was said not to work well in humid locations, moisture would build in the tube. As I live in mid Alabama, I stopped reading about it. Maybe it will work fine in your area. RED
