| i also posted this on the deck and porch site, but have not had a good response - perhaps the people on this site will be able to help - we are thinking of building a large bamboo deck but cannot find anyone who has one to speak with about their experience...anyone out there??? thanks |

| looks like no responses here either. The only thing I can tell you about bamboo is from the kitchen forum. Some body installed a bamboo floor in the kitchen. The kitchen has a skylight, and they said it bleached out the bamboo, and you can clearly see the retangle outline from the skylite on the floor. Ones suspects in the environment you are putting it in, I could be a "Blochy (spotted) appearance, but maybe that won't bother you. I hopes some others will chime in, but looking at the date of your post, I suspects it is too late. Gary |
