We are looking at purchasing a EKO Gasification Boiler to heat our home. Does anyone heat their home with one of these? If so, please let me know your opinion. Thanks

RE: EKO Wood Boiler

nhyankee, thank you for your response.
We now have pricing for the system as well as a new chimney :(
The price new chimney is the deal breaker for the system. Our house is 1 year old. We are not happy to spend more on new chimney.
If we need to spend nearly $20,000 for this system we are going to look into heating our hot water by solar. We are looking to heat our radiant with something other than propane. The propane cost us a fortune last winter. We used our wood stove quite a bit not realizing it could have been why we spent so much as the radiant cooled and heated often. Not sure if that was the case.
Although we have enough wood on our land for the rest of our lives, solar is less sweat equity.
If you have any opinions on solar systems for our needs please add your thoughts. Thanks.
