I really need a way to measure how many Kw and V is my alternator producing for a project i'm working at and i'd prefer to use a formula or something that can measure that before i'm actually building it. Does anybody know anything like that?

Hi,
I'd try posting the message at www.fieldlines.com -- lots of wind experts there.
