vertical axis wind turbine

Has anyone had any contact with a person or had any experience with vertical axis wind turbines? They are so much 'easier on the eye' than a wind tower.
Do you know anything about cost?
I have been trying to find any type of rebate/incentives for solar in Wyoming, but so far have found none. Is there a 'national' incentive? I want to seriously look at full/partial solar /wind, but at this point cannot afford to make my world better- it is just too costly!

Thanks

Vertical turbines make less noise and work better than the ones that ook like air planes Try the sites at pac wind in CA or there is one out of Chicago Got to Planet green and look up wind power

Take a look at Pacwind in Torrance California. They have a range of sizes and designs to fit your needs.
