Help!!! Singer xl's??!!!

Hi,
Hoping that some of you experts can help me! I want to go back to a sewing & embroidery machine (I had the Brother ULT 2001). I have heard that the Singer XL-150 and XL 1000 are great machines, any info???? I need a sewing machine and want the embroidery part for personalizing in a variety of sizes and fonts. I know I will need additional hard/software (Amazing Box). One of the reasons, I'm considering these are the larger hoop sizes! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks in advance!

If you do a search for those machines on line, you will find a whole lot of information.

I checked these out and think that the XL1000 would be the way to go--more money initially, a dollar saver in the end.

The one constant is to try the machines out at your local dealer to see which one you like best.

Joann's had one for embroidery and sewing that hooks up to your computer, thus saving more money not having to buy a reader/writer box.

Also, Embird is a nice little program that converts designs to the format you need.
