| What type of stabilizer do you use on collars? Would water soluble stabilizer just on the top of the collar be enough? I don't like the look of white stabilizer underneath a finished garment. Any suggestions? Thank you. |

| It would depend on the fabric. If it is denim I have found that is thick enough to not bother with a stabilzer. If it is a dark material I use black tear away. A water soluable is always a good answer especially the new one called Aqua Magic which looks like a regular fibre rather than the clear Solvy. And then there is the regular tear away....I have a drawer full of various stabilzers about 6 or 8 different ones depending on the project. (I always stock up when JoAnn's has their 50% off sale). | I would use a tear away sprayed with adhesive spray hooped with my collar placed on top of it. |
