I have this machine and absolutely love it! I have a gazillion hours on it and never a problem at all!!
It sews as good as it embroiders!!

RE: Brother ULT 2001

Mine is a ULT2002 upgraded to a 2003. I don't know what features the 01 has in comparision to the 02 or 03. Mine takes a memory card & a floppy disk. I have heard nothing but praise about any ULT. Mine was bought 5/02 & I have had no problems at all with service requirements. I have many hours on mine. I was concerned about the LCD screen because the of life expectancy I was given & the cost of replacement ($400). I have extended that given time frame many times over & have had no problems.

I am sure my machine can do things that I still am not even aware that it can do. It is a smart machine & is listed among the ones called the "Dream machines".

RE: Brother ULT 2001

As I understand it the difference in the ULT 2001 and 2002 is the Disney Designs.
I do not have them on my 2001.
