Need help with hand stitch

I have an outfit that has emboidery on it. It's a bunch of scrolls stitched but is coming appart. The stitch looks simple, like a tear drop, but I can't figure out how to make it. I have about 2 yards of thread that has come undone and want to fix it. A site showing how to make this stitch would be appreciated. Can't seem to bring anything up.

Try Googling Lazy Daisy stitch - that looks like a teardrop.
