| I'm working on Grandbaby No. 6's baby quilt and all going well (finally found my bobbins! Hooray!)except for a couple of things. I found some really cute designs online so downloaded them into my Embird program to use. Found out they are really poor quality stitch sequence (too many of what I call "cross" or "waste" threads) plus, the biggie reason, the outline stitch totally MISSES the edge, leaving me with gaps to have to hand embroider. So watch out when choosing designs online. Try as a sample first to prevent dissapointment.
Regarding "cross" or "waste" threads, anyone know a way to get that last tiny short bit of fuzz left from them cut off? My scissors are too big, and the seam ripper won't work if I have no way to hold the thread taut. |

| Use a lighter and move it swiftly over the spot with the poking thread and that fuzz will magically disappear. If you send me the design I will look at it and see if I can fix it. |
