Applique Problem

Posted by stitcheasy2003 (My Page) on

I would like to know what to do. I have put an applique design on a top and I have notice and with other applique designs that the ends come unglued and curl up. I thought of doing a satin stitch but this design has small end pieces across the top of it. What can you use so the ends don't come undone? Any ideas Thank you .

RE: Applique Problem

Are you saying that you made an appliqu then glued it to the top? I think the solution would be to appliqu directly onto the garment.

RE: Applique Problem

Pull the thread tails underneath and tie off to secure the ends. These are probably jump stitches.

RE: Applique Problem

if you are not going to satin stitch, at least do a top stitch, applique isn't a glue project, it's sewing.
