Been sewing for years and would like to put initials and things on grandbaby's clothes. Don't have thousands to spend. Any suggestions on where to get a used machine? Thanks

RE: Used Babylock

Hi, I saw your post on Garden Web looking for a Babylok. I have a Bernina Deco 650 embroidery only machine that I bought on ebay a few months ago that has a alphabet/monogram card that came with it. I bought it on a whim from a girl on ebay that needed the money. It reads .pes format so you could download patterns from the internet if you get a card reader box or you could buy embroidery cards from a sewing store, ebay, etc. I have two brother machines that embroider/sew also. It is a really nice machine and it works great. I bought it so that I could embroider more than one thing at a time in hopes that I could try to start a parttime business on the side of my fulltime job. Since I bought it, my dad passed away and I took a night shift position at a local hospital so that I could be there for my mom during the day. She has alot of health issues and I have to be there for her, get her to doctors appts., medication issues, medicare issues, groceries, etc., among chasing my 15 year old, etc. I don't have much time for myself these days and the machine is just sitting in the box. I used it one time and it works great! you can email me at blondie64@comcast.net if you are interested in the Bernina. I have it posted on "craigslist-harrisburg" if you would like to see the pictures. I have included some threads, accessories, etc. with the machine.
If you happen to live close to Lebanon, PA or are in driving distance and would like to see it, you are more than welcome to come to my home and see it. Just a thought and no pressure, Best of luck to you in your search. Have a great day! Marcia
