Embroidery cards

I own a White 3300 embroidery machine. I am looking to purchase a Bernina memory card but I am getting conflicting stories. Some say it will work in a white machine.. others say no. I can't find anything in my white 3300 manual but I believe it has to be PES format. Does anyone know?

RE: Embroidery cards

What Bernina card were you thinking of buying and how large are the designs?

You have to convert the Bernina .art format to your .pes format--there is conversion software out there to do that. The other route is to buy a memory stick or cd with multi-format and transfer the design to your machine via a reader/writer box and card formatted for your White machine.

I understand your concern as manufactured cards are expensive to buy. Once you open the package, it can't be returned just like other software.

Also realize that Bernina has larger embroidery designs and fields than your White so you have to watch the size of the design...your machine will let you know.
