Can you make much money with Embroidery?

I am a Web Nut and make money making websites for big companies and would LOVE to find a way to make money staying home... and not doing websites... LOL

Is it possible to make enough to live off of?

RE: Make Money?

It is like any other self-employed position. No retirement, no paid vacations, no benefits like group medical insurance. You pay both parts of your social security & all your other taxes. Setting up is expensive. You will need Liability insurance to cover what you might damage of other people's items....& it does happen sometimes.

To get customers, you have to have referrals from samples of your work. You have to create a reason for people to choose you over the business fronts that are walkins with set hours everyday. I wouldn't quit my day job to start up from scratch if I was head of household.
